Orthodox Prayers for Ukraine
The Prayers for the Dead, known as Pannikhida, will be held at The Lady Chapel of Wells Cathedral (which is the far east end) at 6:15pm on Friday 23 February - the eve of the second anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. You are also warmly invited to Cathedral Evensong at 5:00pm.
The Pannikhida will be led by Father Richard Penwell of Bath Orthodox Church, and all are warmly welcome. The service will last for 30 minutes.
