Invitation to Public Lecture ‘Sources of Unity’ on 25 November 2025

All are warmly invited to our annual CTS Public Lecture, in partnership with Wells Cathedral, at 6:00pm on Tuesday 25 November 2025 at Wells Cathedral. World Council of Churches European President, Rev Dr Susan Durber, will be speaking about the 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea and what it means for us today.

Dr Durber’s talk is entitled ‘Sources of Unity, from Daily Prayer to the Sunday Creed: The Council of Nicaea, there, then, and (still) here today.’ Dr Durber is a URC Minister, theologian and international ecumenist.

No ticket is needed. You are also invited to Choral Evensong preceding the lecture at 5:15pm. The evening will end at 8:00pm.
